User experience (UX) is about designing products and services
so that they are easy to use, fit people’s activities and behaviors,
and meets business goals.
UX issues are among three of top twelve reasons for project to
fail.
Failure reasons
• badly defined requirements
• poor communication among customers, developers and
users
• stakeholder politics
Appropriate UX investments result in:
• decrease in development costs,
• increase in revenue and
• decreased time to market.

The first step of the workshop is to share user
needs to the workshop participants.

1. Please write down T8-1, if this is a
suggestion for the first idea
(labeled as 1) shared by Team 8.
2. Make sure you label this way for
each post-it you have written.
3. Save your post-it till all teams
have completed their
presentation. After that, we will
ask all of you to post them to a
white drawing paper for each
team on the wall during break
time.
4. If you don’t mind letting others to
know who wrote this suggestion,
feel free to write down your name
on the note so others can talk to
you if they wish to.
Draw Problems , pain points
The first step of the workshop was to spread the firsthand
knowledge about users we harvested from benchmark to the participants
through multiple artifacts.
After sharing the findings and insights, participants were provided with a
Customer Journey tool, for them to capture the pain points users are facing
in their experience.

Brainstorm and Ideation
Brainstorming activity to generate ideas based on
the pain points they had collected in the previous
activity.
Take down and read all the post-it notes from your classmates,
discuss them with your teammates to generate new ideas.
Find interesting findings,
Write down challenges and opportunities
Ideation Selection
Participants have shared the ideas generated from the
brainstorming activity with their break out group members,
and selected the most interesting ideas from each
worksheet.

  • 3. User experience (UX) is about designing products and services so that they are easy to use, fit people’s activities and behaviors, and meets business goals. UX issues are among three of top twelve reasons for project to fail. Failure reasons • badly defined requirements • poor communication among customers, developers and users • stakeholder politics Appropriate UX investments result in: • decrease in development costs, • increase in revenue and • decreased time to market.   • 6. Draw Problems , pain points The first step of the workshop was to spread the firsthand knowledge about users we harvested from benchmark to the participants through multiple artifacts. After sharing the findings and insights, participants were provided with a Customer Journey tool, for them to capture the pain points users are facing in their experience.
