BOARD SECRETARY/VICE PRESIDENT OF ASSOCIATION
 Serving in a leadership position with the largest statewide oil and gas association for
Independents in the country, boasting more than 3,300 members in 34 states.
 Apply skill and expertise in managing the daily multitude of tasks required in the day-
to-day requirements necessary in performing multiple tasks simultaneously,
prioritizing, organizing and implementing projects in on time and within budget.
 In role of Secretary of the Board of Directors duties include but are not limited to
organizing and documenting all BOD and Executive Committee formal meetings, which
includes a membership of 60 elected individuals.
 Role of Vice President which includes fiduciary responsibilities as well as representing
the association on numerous educational and industry-related Boards and Advisory
Committees.

 Provide leadership, direction, guidance, training, mentoring and supervision to office
and staff including working with team members at various locations.
 Coordinate, implement, and supervise various events and meetings, which include
strategic planning, budget development/tracking, site selection, securing speakers and
volunteers, coordinating exhibit booth sales, sponsorship sales, design and layout of all
marketing materials, on-site and vendor supervision, press releases, and ROI.
 Design and approve all association printed and electronic content and materials.
 Ensure filing of all State PAC and Lobbyist reports with the Texas Ethics Commission.
 Execute all marketing and public relations efforts.
 Coordinate display ad sales, design publication (graphics and text), writing/editing
documents in preparation for printing for the monthly news magazine and annual
Membership Directory.
 Market and increase new memberships by selling memberships, represent the
association by promoting, planning, implementing and attending industry events and
trade shows (including set-up and booth management).
 Coordinate the process of three educational scholarships includes application design
and distribution, student nominations, university and high school communications, and
scholarship presentations.
