LANGUAGE CERTIFICATION IN ITALY

•Universities need proof of your language level as credits for
graduation or for admission to courses – usually B1 or B2 level.


OPTIONS:
•You might already have a recognised certificate from school
• Internal tests written and administered by the university?

•International certification produced by the exam boards of the
various countries associated with the language ?

CEF Writing descriptor
                      In social and travel contexts, users at
              this level can write short notes and messages
              and simple personal letters of a narrative or
              descriptive type, such as thank you letters and

                  In the workplace, they can write a short note

              of request and record a routine order. They can
              make notes during a meeting for their own
              purposes and write a straightforward routine
              letter, although this will need to be checked by a
              colleague.

 In task 1 candidates are asked to look at a diagram or table and
 to present the information. They may need to:
         organise, present and compare data
         describe the stages of a process or procedure
         describe an object or an event or sequence of events
         explain how something works

   periods and whether they were studying full-time or part-time. Write a report for a university

     According to the graph, the number of men and women in further
  education in Britain shows the following pattern. In the case of male, the
  number of males has declined slightly from about 1000 thousands in
  12970/71 to about 850 thousands in 1980/81. However this figure rose
  back to about 850 thousands in 1980/81. The proportion of full-time
  education has declined during this periods. However, the proportion of
  part-time education has increased dramatically. On the other hand , in
  the case of female, the number of both full.-time education and part-
  time.education has increased during this period. From about 700
  thousands in 1970/71, these figures rose to about 820 thousand s in
  1980/81, to about 1100 thousands in 1990/91………..

General tips for IELTS writing

Write at least the minimum number of words requested
Use a range of linking words to connect and sequence your
ideas
In Task 1 make sure what you write reflects the information
in the chart accurately
In Task 2 make sure your view is clear and that you support
it effectively
Check your work for particular mistakes you make
Paragraphing is essential

However, the proportion of part-time education has increased dramatically.   4. The face-to-face Speaking module of the test is attractive to both candidates and organisations and institutions. Face-to-face Speaking Test reflects the real world context in which a candidate would most likely need to use their spoken English. In the Speaking test the candidate speaks to a trained and qualified examiner. Candidates can ask for clarification and he or she can also be challenged by the examiner during the test. The Speaking Test is in 3 parts - introduction and interview, a long turn where the candidate is asked to speak uninterupted for up to 2 minutes on a given topic and finally a two-way discussion where the candidate is asked to participate in a discussion of a more abstract nature.
