Today we are moving from Jesus' many teachings describing the Kingdom of God to his teachings describing who is in the kingdom of God. Whether or not you'll be a part of the Kingdom of God is the most important decision you'll ever make so lets take a look at what Jesus had to say about who's in and who's out. 

2. 15 When one of those at the table with him
heard this, he said to Jesus, “Blessed is the
one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of
God.”

3. 16 Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a
great banquet and invited many guests. 17 At
the time of the banquet he sent his servant to
tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for
everything is now ready.’

4. 18 “But they all alike began to make excuses. The
first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I
must go and see it. Please excuse me.’

5. 19 “Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke
of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out.
Please excuse me.’ 20 “Still another said, ‘I just
got married, so I can’t come.’

6. 21 “The servant came back and reported this to
his master. Then the owner of the house became
angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly
into the streets and alleys of the town and
bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and
the lame.’

7. 22 “ ‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered
has been done, but there is still room.’

8. 23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to
the roads and country lanes and compel them to
come in, so that my house will be full. 24 I tell
you, not one of those who were invited will get
a taste of my banquet.’ ”

10. 5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion
came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said,
“my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering
terribly.”

11. 7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal
him?” 8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not
deserve to have you come under my roof. But
just say the word, and my servant will be
healed.

12. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with
soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he
goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say
to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

13. 10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and
said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I
have not found anyone in Israel with such
great faith.

14. 11 I say to you that many will come from the
east and the west, and will take their places at
the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the
kingdom of heaven.

15. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be
thrown outside, into the darkness, where there
will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

16. 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it
be done just as you believed it would.” And his
servant was healed at that moment.
