Manage a multi- shift operation of the distribution center in accordance with company policies and procedures

Responsible for the effective, efficient and safe management of a one million sq. ft dry / refrigerated
building
Responsible for the interviewing, hiring and supervision of Shift Managers and DC Supervisors.

and assets within the project. Work with senior management to ensure compliance with the FDA, OSHA, EPA,
and PSM programs; Kraft Quality policies; and safety, security, and environmental programs. Develop,

Included managing all infrastructures for project, punch list, implementation date, and ordering of
MHE
Lead maintenance integration project in which two maintenance shops were consolidated into one
building including a start-up of an ammonia room which included installing 18,000 pounds of
ammonia
Participated on project team of retro fitting new building to spec and integrating two buildings into one
million square foot building.
Lead two safety interventions at two other Schenker sites to identify safety gaps and provided
recommendations for improvement.
Conduct monthly audits assessments to help identify gaps and ensure compliance for Safety, Security,
Quality, and Environmental programs.
Investigate, review and follow up on all accidents involved at the site. Complete appropriate
investigation reports and root cause analysis.
Review and prescribe ergonomic solutions within job design for prevention of injuries.
Plan, develop, review, recommend and conduct training classes, and training material, to educate
current and new hire associates, supervisors and site management regarding Safety, Security and
Environmental Programs.
Instituted a Behavioral Based Program to entire front line leadership team that provides a proactive
approach in preventing accidents and injuries.
Lead National Sector Safety Team. Meets monthly to discuss Safety Hot Sheets, trends, root causes
and safety initiatives. Members include General Managers from all seven Mixing Centers and ten
Buffer locations. YTD the sector has seen a 37% decrease in recordable incidents.
