1. Move out of the City and Refresh Your Brains
It is important for a person to take some time out and enjoy the life along with the family and friends
and at times you even need a break from those very friends and family as well. Reason is that the human
brain is just like a machine. A very powerful machine it is though, yet we all need to get ourselves
refreshed and for that reason we must take short breaks from life and spend some time away from the
hustle and bustle of these metropolitans that we live in nowadays. It is a fact that city life is fun and
enthusiastic for those who have large social circles but the same cities can be boring and uninteresting
for us if we keep behaving like robots and keep living a life that nobody would ever want to lead.
Unfortunately, most of us, most of the times treat ourselves like robots who have no feelings, who never
get exhausted, who need just a few hours’ sleep to get their batteries recharged for a whole new busy
day. Truth is that we are much different and our brains have a much more complex system that no robot
on the planet can ever beat. We can generate ideas; a quality that no robot may ever possess despite
hard work done by the scientists in this regard. But how tragic it is that we ruin this quality of ours by
exhausting and wasting our energies without giving our bodies the necessary rest that they require?
By resting it is not meant that we do not sleep so we do not take rest. We all sleep and surely that is not
the rest that we are discussing here. What we are discussing is the occasional wilderness retreat that
we must have somewhere away from the busy city life where we can enjoy the nature’s calmness and
serenity. We have almost forgotten the flavors of fresh air while sitting in our air conditioned offices and
air conditioned cars. We have almost forgotten how it feels to be in an open area where there is enough
fresh air to fill in our lungs as we take a deep breath in because we live in our small apartments that
hardly have space for us living in there let alone the fresh air that could fill in our lungs. Result is the
depression and anxiety that an ever-growing number of people in our country are becoming patients of.
We must give our bodies and minds some fresh environment for a few days that can heal our depression
and anxiety and of course camping out of the city is not a bad idea for that purpose at all.
