The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins finish up a tw o-game homestand tonight w hen they take on the Springfield Falcons at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey
Plaza. The Penguins (24-18-1-3) fellto the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 6-2, on Saturday night, snapping a four-game w inning streak. The Falcons (26-15-4-
0) dropped a 3-1 decision at Hartford on Saturday, extending their season-high w inless streak to six games.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms scored six straight goals to dow n the Penguins, 6-2, on Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. Trailing 2-0
midw ay through the first period, Andrew Gordon netted the first of a barrage of Phantom goals w ith 8:30 left in the period. Just 3:17 later, Adam Comrie
knotted the score, 2-2. Lehigh Valley took its first lead at 5:10 of the second period on Jesper Pettersson’s first professional goal. W-B/Scranton
goaltender Matt Murray w as pulled after allow ing three goals on 12 shots. The contest w ould remain 3-2 until Taylor Leier scored just 20 seconds into the
final period on the Phantoms’ first shot since the goaltender change. Nick Cousins and Jason Akeson closed out the scoring for Lehigh Valley, making it
six different goalscorers forthe Phantoms on the night. Scott Wilson and Tom Kuhnhackl gave W-B/Scranton the lead in the first period, but the Penguins
could not extend their season-high four game w inning streak. Leier and Cousins each tallied a goal and tw o assistsfor the Phantoms, w ho also received a
goal and an assist from Akeson. Andrew Ebbett recorded tw o assists for the Penguins.
Danny Kristo scored the tie-breaking goal w ith 4:49 left in the second period to lead Hartford over Springfield, 3-1, Saturday night at XL Center. Marek
Hrivik opened the scoring for Hartford on the pow er play 3:15 into the game. Marko Dano tied the score 7:38 into the second period. Joey Crabb iced the
game w ith an empty-net goal w ith 32 seconds left to play, sending the Falcons to their sixth straight loss (0-5-1-0). Hrivikfinished the game w ith a goal and
an assist for the Wolf Pack. Scott Munroe stopped 30 shots for the Falcons.

The Penguins and Falcons face off tonight for the third match of their four-game season series. W-B/Scranton has skated aw ay w ith 5-0 victories in the
