2. COMPANY OVERVIEW
With over 12 years experience in executive recruitment and search, ConnectedGroup has
developed a portfolio of people-centric solutions around the needs of its clients.
ConnectedGroup is a privately owned enterprise that was established in 1997 and built on a
foundation of providing research driven executive search assignments.
Today ConnectedGroup has evolved from a pure executive search business into a full spectrum
human capital consulting firm.
With offices in Asia and the Middle East we are well placed to service two of the fastest growing
regions in the world and our consultative and client driven approach has positioned us as a
partner of choice for companies across a diverse range of industries.

OFFICE LOCATIONS
HONG KONG Established in 1997, this is our founding office and remains as the Group
headquarters. Stationed at the 'gateway to China' for over a decade, we have been well
positioned to develop alongside the economic growth of the world's largest market.
SINGAPORE Established in 2004, the 'Lion City' acts as our base of operations for South East
Asia. Singapore is strategically located to support the growth of countries within the ASEAN and
key developing countries in this region are likely locations for future ConnectedGroup offices.
DUBAI Established in 2005, this office has experienced significant growth since inception,
mirroring the economic development across the UAE. From here we have been able to support
clients across the Middle East & Africa and we see it as a key growth market for us moving
forwards.
CHINA Established in 2006 via a joint venture agreement with a successful local boutique
(established in 2003), we continue to depend on local experience to provide cultural and
market insight whilst aligning our full service offering and international search methodologies.
China offers significant future potential as the economy continues to globalize.

4. MANAGEMENT TEAM
MATHEW GOLLOP, GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR
With over 12 years experience in recruitment and executive search,
Mathew joined ConnectedGroup in 2001 in Hong Kong and assumed
control of the business in early 2002 through a management buy-out.
Steering the business through the downturn of 2001-2003 he has driven
strategic and operational development to achieve significant organic
expansion of the business. Still maintaining a very hands-on approach,
Mathew maintains a client facing role and has run searches in a broad
range of industry sectors. He has also been instrumental to the ongoing
evolution of ConnectedRPO, bringing a high-level tactical approach to
client consulting.
MATTHEW CADDICK, GROUP DIRECTOR, HONG KONG
With over 12 years experience in recruitment and executive search,
Matthew joined ConnectedGroup in 2001 in Hong Kong to head the
Investment Banking division. He became part of the MBO team and
assumed directorship and shareholding at Group level in 2002. With
experience that ranges from contractor management to senior
recruitment and into retained global search, Matthew is able to bring a
strong operational perspective to his clients as well as working in a
senior and strategic relationship management capacity.
HERBIE AMBROSE, REGIONAL DIRECTOR, MIDDLE EAST
Possessing over a decade of experience in executive search, Herbie
moved from the UK to the Middle East in 2002 where he has worked on
numerous C-Level searches accross a variety of industry verticals. As the
driving force behind ConnectedGroup's Dubai office, covering the
Middle East & Africa, Herbie built the operation from scratch to the 25+
staff that exist today and is the key strategic contact to our major
clients across the region, and also helped to establish the Group's Board
& Strategic Advisory services. Herbie is a former Army Officer and a
graduate of the Royal Military Academy - Sandhurst.

JAMES PURDIE, REGIONAL DIRECTOR, SOUTH EAST ASIA
Possessing over 15 years experience in recruitment and executive
search, and 10 years operating at Director level, James has actively
recruited in and managed teams across all the major operational and
support specialisms within the banking and finance sector. Joining
ConnectedGroup in Singapore in 2008 from one of London's most
respected recruitment firms, he previously ran his own recruitment
company who provided Pan-European recruitment solutions to the
Investment Banking and Asset Management sector. He takes
responsibility for the future growth and development of the South East
Asian business.
GINKO GAO, MANAGING DIRECTOR, CHINA
Commencing his career in the consumer sector with Procter & Gamble,
Ginko transitioned into recruitment in 2000 and then launched his own
boutique search company in 2003 which joined the ConnectedGroup
in 2006 via a joint venture agreement. Operating as part of the network
as opposed to a franchise, the China operations have leveraged the
Group's knowledge and connections in the finance and technology
sectors to expand beyond their original core markets of consumer and
legal whilst continuing to provide broader training and human resource
consulting services. Ginko brings key local knowledge and a track
record of operating searches across a range of industries.
ZAKEERA VIDLER, DIRECTOR, CONNECTEDHR, MIDDLE EAST
Zakeera joined ConnectedGroup in April 2007 to lead the conception
and development of ConnectedHR. Zakeera is responsible for the
strategic development of the business and also plays an active role in
managing, planning and delivering HR projects for high profile clients.
Prior to ConnectedGroup, she spent six years as HR Director/Member of
the UAE BOD for a Fortune 500 business providing a full range of HR
services, including learning and development. Zakeera is a Chartered
Fellow Member, graduate of CIPD and possesses 15+ years of
professional HR experience that brings credibility and depth to her client
consulting activity. Her degree from the Open University has allowed her
to combine her passion for psychology, philosophy and arts!
