4. Philosophy
PRINCIPLES & VALUES
The Event Bureau’s corporate principles and values are the same as its founder, Jules Miller, who personally
believes in the below and manages her company, her clients’ projects, and her staff according to the below
code of ethics.
No hidden agenda.
The Event Bureau is in business to help other companies succeed. We believe the
more we understand our clients and their business, the better we are able to help
them achieve their goals.
Our clients come first.
We go to extraordinary lengths to understand our clients and their business.
We take great pride in helping other companies succeed.
Your project means a great deal to us.
Your projects are not ‘just’ projects to us. As passionate, creative, and determined
businesspeople, we view our clients’ projects as extensions of ourselves.
With all due respect and without arrogance, we treat our clients’ projects as if
they were our own business ventures. We possess an innate sense of ownership,
accountability, and commitment towards our clients’ projects.
We are driven by providing the highest level of service to our clients, and not by
company profits.
We march to the beat of a different drummer.
Our ethics strongly affect how we think and operate as a company. We earn our
clients’ trust by providing a high level of service, by being honest and reliable, and
for always doing what is best for our clients and their projects.
We respect our clients and their businesses.
We always speak the truth. We never sugarcoat a situation or make promises we
cannot fulfill.
We strongly value our open-book accounting practices. Contrary to industry
standards, we do not accept vendor kickbacks or present false job invoices to our
clients. Our numbers are always ‘real’ numbers and are not tainted by ‘behind-
closed-doors’ co-opts we may have with vendors. We cannot be bought, so keep
your cash in your wallet!
We only present the best vendors to our clients. The prices we negotiate are
always well below market cost. All extra discounts offered by vendors are put
towards our clients’ budgets.
5. Method
Whether your goal in hosting an event is to engage, inspire, educate, train, entertain or reward a particular
audience, we plan events that connect you with your audience.
But how exactly do we do that?
PHASE 1: PROMOTE +
Getting to really know you!
To best promote your product, service, or program, we first learn everything we
can about you. What do you do? How do you serve the marketplace? Whose your
target market? What have you done previously to promote your brand or
program? What do you hope to achieve by hosting an event?
We invest a lot of energy in understanding you. We take this ‘getting to know you’
stage very seriously. The more we understand you the better we can design a
program that is aligned with you, your budget and your objectives.
You are unique and so is your audience. That said; we invest a lot of time, thought,
and creativity into this phase. By doing so, we can produce an event program that
speaks to your audience’s sensibilities and inspires them.
PHASE 2: INSPIRE >
Speak to me in a language I can appreciate.
It’s been a wonderful journey working with you to design a program that would
best speak to your audience in terms they can relate to. We have touched your
audience in someway, motivating them to take notice of your product, service, or
program. Now that we have your audience’s attention and under terms
specifically tailored to their needs and desires, we now have a platform to engage
them further.
They are now willing to hear your story and with an open heart and mind.
PHASE 3: CONNECT
Is it love, or is it magic?
We have inspired your audience, they are now ready and willing to listen to your
story, and they want to hear your story! By utilizing an event as your vehicle to
engage your audience, you have connected with them on either an intellectual,
spiritual, cultural, emotional, or business-level.
A wonderful moment is now in play. We have planned an event that has helped
you connect with your audience.
This is what we do, and this is how we help you.
Events that help you connect with your audience.

6. Services
We plan events that help you connect with your audience.
We do this by planning event and marketing campaigns that engage, inspire, educate, reward, and entertain
your consumers, staff, senior-management, clients, and the general public.
As your marketing partners, we ensure your function’s overall vision is brought to fruition, your project objectives
are met, your event runs smoothly, and your program message is clearly conveyed to your audience.
Additionally, we assist companies by providing a full range of event analysis and training programs. Our analysis
and training programs provide measurable results for our clients in the form of more effective, efficient, and
profitable event campaigns.
