au prochain cycle secret :
Un laboratoire d’études sur l’inconnu
À l’occasion de sa 6ème saison, KSAT se penche sur le thème des « Secrets ».
C’est l’opportunité de discerner le mystérieux et le caché, en dévoilant les différentes facettes
du secret. La nature d’un secret nous échappe, elle acquière un sens différent en fonction du
contexte. L’humain est, par nature, curieux et fasciné par des communautés qui détiennent un
savoir occulté.
Comment rendre compte d’un concept dont la définition même le veut caché ?
Dans ce cycle de rencontres, nous nous intéressons au concept même de secret à travers
des lectures croisées interprétées par différents artistes. Une variété d’éléments sera mise à la
disposition du lecteur/visiteur, lui donnant ainsi des clefs de réflexion sur le thème.
Le cycle s’annonce riche en interventions et échanges. Il se présentera sous une temporalité
et matérialité différente en fonction du support utilisé (publication papier, site Internet, événe-
ment) afin de donner une expérience complète jusqu’à la célébration de la fin du cycle au
printemps 2013.
A cette occasion, une édition papier numérotée sera présentée comme un livre d’artiste et
témoignera du fruit des recherches abouties par les artistes participants au projet.
En attendant, nous organisons une série de rencontres sous le nom de KSAT CAMP :
de petits événements éphémères dans des lieux parisiens non initialement destinés à l’art,
gardés secrets et révélés uniquement quelques temps avant le rendez-vous.
Ces événements permettront un échange privilégié et direct entre les artistes et le public.
KSAT#6 est secret… ne le dites a personne !

to the upcoming secret cycle :
A study case of the unknown
For its sixth season, KSAT focuses on the theme of “Secrets.”
It will be the opportunity to unveil the mysterious and the hidden, revealing different aspects
of secrecy. The nature of a secret is elusive, it acquires a different meaning depending on the
context. Humans are inconciously curious and fascinated by communities that hold hidden
knowledge.
How could we report about a concept when its own definition makes it so evanescent and
intangible?
During this cycle of meetings, we’re focusing on the concept itself through different artists’
crossreadings and interpretations. A bunch of clues will be revealed to the reader/visitor in
order to give him hints of thoughts about the theme.
The cycle will be full of interventions and exchanges. It will be presented in a different time
scale and through various forms according to the chosen media (paper publication, website,
event) in order to provide a complete experience until the celebration of the end of the cycle in
Spring 2013. On this occasion, a numbered paper edition will be presented as an artist’s book
and will reflect the result of researches accomplished by the artists participating in the project.
Waiting for this celebration, we organize a series of meetings under the name of KSAT CAMP:
a cycle of small ephemeral events taking place in Paris in spots not originally dedicated to art.
The location will be kept secret and will be revealed shortly before the start of the event. They
will allow a privileged and direct interaction between the artists and the public.
KSAT # 6 is secret ... don’t tell anyone!
