2. Current scenario
Across domains, technology & industries are growing
with an annual CAGR of ~10% with e-commerce and
digital drive taking the lead. Opportunities,
prospects, and plans are big.
India has a wide spread of population across rural
and suburb areas, including tier-2/tier-3 cities,
amounting to a total of 60-65% living in these area.
With these people migrating to metros for work and
livelihood, metros are eventually converting into
crowded spaces. This is a problem today and
will magnify even more tomorrow and is already
affecting overall growth beyond metros.

3. Growth | Competition | Challenges
Challenges are part of journey that come coupled
unsaid. Usually organisations work in captive mode
for auxiliary business services looking to
ensure best customer experience on-board. Keeping
pace with the growth it is important to have experts
doing the job and thus BPMs (Business Process
Management Cos.) play a significant role. Even for
BPMs with growth focused and converging
within top 10 cities across India there is excessive
competition leading to higher attrition levels
while the upward trend of other cost inputs like
salaries, real estate, training, employee engagement
continue keeping high pressure on the bottom line.

4. Five Splash
We believe for every action or business there has to be a
clearly defined purpose. Five Splash was born with the
purpose of making youth in and around tier-2/tier-3 cities
and nearby rural areas a star, enabling one believing in
self while growing.
Thus at Five Splash, we have been working to create job
opportunities for these youths at near to home
locations, mainly in tier-2/tier-3 cities. With sustainable
options and long term job opportunities it is a win-win for
people as well as businesses.
What
5. Intent
Drive now taken by the government to promote
employment beyond metro cities is being practised by
Five Splash since 2009. We have been helping our
customers realise the benefits of this model of
services by simplifying tasks while creating multi-layer skill
based structure leveraging the skill set available or what
can be developed in tier-2/tier-3 cities (including rural
surrounding) easily. With a share of 50%+ women
employees, we look forward to provide livelihood options
to hardworking, skilled, and trainable workforce in such
parts of India. We intend to take this impact to all
corners of India.

6. How
BOP (Business Operations Partner)
We work with our customers closely in understanding their
business processes and break those down to little steps
and leverage technology to provide efficient services
including back office, digitisation, web search, as well as
voice support services.
With customers from Europe and United States along with
India, the model has proven to be at par in fact better in
many ways including stability, operational
efficiencies, cost inputs, etc. Partnering approach
instead of outsourcing model has enabled us as well as our
customers to have very clear lines of accountability.
And, with varied range of services, the model leverages
strength of youths to drive change.
