Letter of Recommendation for Kara Swanson
To Whom It May Concern:
As Vice President of Comfort Institute, I am writing to recommend Kara Swanson as a candidate for a position
within your organization.
We have recently decided to move our main office headquarters from Bellingham, WA to Dallas, TX. We
offered Kara her position in Dallas but due to personal circumstances she could not accept the position.
Kara started in our company with the title of Event Coordinator but soon also took on the role of Office
Manager/Executive Assistant. I am on the road traveling most of the time so Kara is in charge of our entire
office and warehouse in Bellingham in my absence.
During her tenure, Kara successfully coordinated our entire office and warehouse move early this year within
Bellingham. She assisted with implementing many new procedures including new marketing campaigns, a new
online registration system for all our events as well as coordinating the creation of a new procedure manual for
the entire company which will be a valuable asset while we transition locations. She was also in charge of
hiring and training all staff at the Bellingham location.
Kara has proven to show great leadership within our company. She is a pro-active and self-starter who is highly
motivated with exceptional learning abilities, duty bound and a committed team player. Kara has excellent
written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, can work independently and is able to follow
through to ensure that the job gets done.
Kara is always willing to offer her assistance and had excellent rapport with the many constituents served by
our office including members, prospects, customers, and other professional organizations.
She would be an asset to any employer and I recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue. Please do
