Rhino Lifting Maintenance (Pty) Ltd was founded by owner Charles van Rensburg in August
2002.
Our personal believe in professional service and honest business ethics prompt us to address the
needs in the specialized tool industry market. With several years of experience in the specialized tool
industry, he started the Rhino Lifting Maintenance Company and brought the expertise of repairs to all
types of cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, air tools and diaphragm pumps to the company.

We were recently appointed as an Ingersoll Rand and Stahl crane systems distributor.

How Rhino Lifting Maintenance operates:
Rhino Lifting Maintenance (Pty) Ltd operates according to the strict procedures of the
Lifting Machine and Lifting Tackle Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85
of 1993. The company is a certified member of LEEASA (Lifting Equipment Engineering
Association of South Africa) since 2006.
Rhino Lifting Maintenance (Pty) Ltd operates with certified inspectors of Lifting Machinery in
terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 46 of 2000) and is a registered member
of the Engineering Council of South Africa.
The Department of Labour approved the company in terms of Driven Machinery Regulations 18(5) of
the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, examining and testing of lifting machines and lifting
tackles. The scope of approval includes Overhead Cranes, Lifting tackle, Lifting Machines and all types
of winches.
We also comply with the accepted SANS specifications (previously known as South African Bureau of
Standards specification) in supplying products and rendering their services to their clients according to
appropriate technical standards. The main objective of the company is to render a professional, quality
service but with the focus on the clients individual needs.
The pricing structure meets industry related costs and optimum service and products can be delivered
well within the client’s budget. In an ever-changing market, Rhino Lifting Maintenance (Pty) Ltd
