I am engaged in a doctoral programme in the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology at the University of Kent, having previously completed a Masters in Conservation and Rural Development within the same department, and having already a degree in Ecology and a postgraduate diploma in GIS. My Masters thesis research brought me to northern Gabon to conduct fieldwork with inhabitants of indigenous Baka villages regarding their use of non-timber forest products.
