Bloomberg L.P. May 2016 – August 2016
Software Engineering Intern
• Developed libraries, databases, and services to streamline the integration of Bloomberg data with an open source
enterprise search platform. This project will significantly reduce the time required to instantiate a new dataset.

Team Member
• Member of an eight student team that developed a means to control pre-hospital, high-pressure hemorrhages at
junctional sites as a means to reduce the number of battlefield deaths that occur due to blood loss.
• Developed a compact, portable device to deliver a polymer foam which expands and applies pressure to wounds in
order to stem bleeding in situations where tourniquets cannot be applied.
