Accenture research indicates Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) will be the biggest driver of productivity and growth in the next decade. The Industrial Internet of Things is a network of physical objects, systems, platforms and applications that contain embedded technology to communicate and share intelligence with each other, external environment and with people. In this presentation we show how Teamcenter can be used as one of the key platforms of the IIoT by using a business scenario on real-time issue management in PLM. This framework can be extended to other business scenarios and enables Teamcenter to capture the data from physical objects and share it within supply chain.
