Hello, My name is Katrina Matza. I have always wanted to change the world, and to me teaching is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to do that. My home is in Havi, Hawaii, but I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I graduated from Cedar Ridge High School with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2011, and then graduated from Appalachian State University in May 2015. Here at Appalachian, I was Vice President of the National Honors Society of Collegiate Scholars, member of the App State Snowboard Team, created volunteer partnerships with Western Youth Network, Horse Helpers, and Farm Cafe as well as help run a non-profit puppy fostering organization called PART...
