Graduate of the MD/PhD program at Thomas Jefferson University, where I also completed my internship in internal medicine. Now an anesthesiology resident at MGH. Current projects include a quality and safety project on intraoperative infusions, patient education on post-op opioid use via health center websites, and ongoing collaborations regarding science on Twitter and addiction/pain management in the perioperative period. Recent research (pending publications) include impact of ketamine on post-amputation pain (Jefferson) and chronic opioid use work with the Cleveland Clinic. Graduate thesis in Neuroscience on interaction of opioid addiction & PTSD/stress in rat and human models.
