Concept Staffing
2000—2002 • Recruitment Consultant, Commercial Desk
I built the desk from cold to a profitable hot hive of activity, always hitting or exceeding targets on
both temp and perm. Taking over a waylaid project to be the 2nd tier supplier to Wise Employment
for BCA in Swindon.
On arrival to Concept Staffing there was only 5 ongoing temps BCA, within 8 weeks my conversion
created 50 ongoing on a monthly rolling basis to BCA. Continuing to build a strong relationship with
Wise and BCA, resourcing temps, training and successfully managing in and out going workers. I
implemented a 2 strike system to ensure quality.
Providing full cycle recruitment: advertising, candidate registration, vetting, training to candidate
start and ongoing support and caseload management. Perm quota of 2—3 per month. The desk
escalated and increased with new temp and perm contracts like Culligan Water, alongside BCA call
center. Whenever required I also covered the Industrial desk supplying warehouse, factory, drivers,
fork lift and catering staff. This is where I trained and gained my REC accreditation.
