Review Form 3 - Chapter 7
In this chapter, you will learn:
1. Variable and Constant
Variable - Not Fixed Quantity Constant - Fixed Quantity
Eg. The height of student(s). Eg. The height of KL Tower.
The number of tourists. The value of  .
The length of cucumber. The diameter of earth.
2. Subject - Single and Positive Variable.
Eg. A pen cost RM 10 and a calculator costs RM27.
Eddy bought x pens and y calculators for RM T.
T = 10x+27y
T is the subject of formula.
3. Same as Form 2-Chapter 3-Algebraic Expression
Express in terms. Some question will have consists Substitution.

Form 2:- Ratio- a comparison of quantities with the same unit.

2. If the ratios of a : b and b : c are given , then we can find the ratio of

Example: If a : b = 1 : 2 and b: c =4 : 5,
Form 2&4:-Proportions- a quantity is proportional to anotherquantity if they have
equivalent ratios.
3. Given that m = 3 when n = 5 and m = 6 when n = 10.
Since, Thus,m is proportional to n.
Form 3:-Rates - The change in one quantity in relation to anotherquantity.
