GIVING PRIORITY
TO CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Listening to passengers, understanding them, fulfilling their needs and providing them with
the best quality of service are the ultimate goals of the Group’s philosophy, “Thinking like
a passenger”. This forms the basis of all Keolis’ initiatives. Each customer is seen as an
individual, and the company’s aim is to make public transport increasingly attractive.
4
MAKING NETWORKS MORE FLUID
Thanks to decades of cumulative experience in managing integrated networks, Keolis has
perfected its understanding of the four fundamental aspects of intermodal transport:
infrastructure, ease of changes, passenger information and harmonisation of timetables
between the various transport modes. With a presence across the entire mobility chain,
including car parking, Keolis rationalises existing networks and designs those of tomorrow,
with the aim of promoting simplicity in urban travel and the attractiveness
of collective or shared transport.
5
DEVELOPING A COMMITTED
AND RESPONSIBLE APPROACH
Keolis is committed to taking on board the specific concerns of each local authority.
Its aim is to achieve balanced development of territories by favouring environmentally
friendly transport and alternative energy sources, while at the same time promoting
diversity, equality, security and safety for all.

NEW JOINT VENTURE AND
SUBSIDIARY
Keolis officially created Keolis Danmark, a joint venture
with Nettbuss Danmark held 70 % by Keolis and 30 % by
Nettbuss. In Norway, Fjord1, joint operator of the Bergen
network, sold its share to Keolis, leading to the creation of
a new subsidiary, Keolis Norge.
EFFIA STATIONNEMENT CONTINUES
TO EXPAND
Keolis’ subsidiary won four significant car park
management contracts in 2014: Paris (Gare du Nord),
Antibes (Marineland), Nice (Hôpital Pasteur 2) and
Suresnes.
KEOLIS WINS WATERLOO LIGHT RAIL
CONTRACT
The public-private partnership contract between Grandlinq
and the Region of Waterloo will allow Keolis, currently
working on the conception and design phase, to become the
operator of this future light rail in the province of Ontario.
This is Keolis’ first light rail deal in North America.
GOLD COAST LIGHT RAIL OPENS
G: link, the new light rail in Gold Coast, was launched
following three years of construction work. It runs for
13 km with 16 stations, and links the main tourist,
economic and educational centres of the city.
KEOLIS WINS TWO IMPORTANT
CONTRACTS
By winning two major contracts, Keolis has strengthened
its position in Mass Transit. The contracts involve
operating Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern,
the largest British rail franchise, and Docklands Light
Railway, the automated London metro.
BORDEAUX RENEWS CONTRACT
WITH KEOLIS
Bordeaux Métropole (formerly La Cub), the Bordeaux
public transport authority, has signed an eight-year
contract for managing its Tbc network with Keolis,
the operator since 2009.
EXTENDING TRAMWAY LINE 1
IN LYON
Keolis brought into service the new 2.1 km section of the T1
tramway which links Confluence and Gerland, two districts
undergoing rapid growth. Four new stations were built
connecting the tramway to the metro network.
KEOLIS BUYS AUTOCARS STRIEBIG
IN ALSACE
At the end of 2014 Keolis bought the family-held company
Autocars Striebig, a prominent interurban transport
company in Alsace, confirming the Group’s intention to
develop public transport activities in this dynamic region.
SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH FOR BOSTON
SUBURBAN TRAINS
Keolis Commuter Services (KCS) took over running
Boston’s suburban train network on July 1st, 2014,
following an unprecedented effort by its teams based
there. The contract, which runs for eight years, is the
largest in North America delegated to a private operator.
A JOINT VENTURE AS GATEWAY
TO ASIAN MARKET
After three years of collaboration, Keolis and Shentong
Metro Group signed an agreement for the creation of a joint
venture, Shanghai Keolis Public Transport. This alliance will
allow the partners to respond to tenders across the region.
