Professional Experience
2010 – 2016 Executive Engineer , Gujarat Energy Transmission Corp, India
As an Executive Engineer, the senior most engineering leadership role at the
state electricity board level, led state wide construction,estimation,
execution, budget planning for execution of 66kV to 220kV Substation &
400kV EHV Line. Delivered captial expenditure worth $85 million.
 Preparation scope of works with technical specifications, estimation,
evaluation of the quotations/bids, technical discussion with vendors,
material inspection, recommendation
 Review and approvals to detailed survey, profiles and check survey.
Estimating, planning, erection, testing and commissioning of 66kV to
400kV transmission lines
 Scrutiny/preparation of BOQs estimation,execution supervision of various
switchyard and transmission line projects, Checking FQP and maintaining
the records
 Planning, execution, material inspection, construction, quality control and
contractor’s billing procedures. Co-ordination with vendors, contractor

 Prepared detailed estimates for augmentation, replacement and

2. 2010- 1994 Deputy Engineer, Gujarat Energy Transmission Corp, India
 As a Deputy Engineer responsible for construction of substation & EHV
line, bid preparation, estimation, technical evaluation ,price bid scrutiny,
allotment & planning of material for various new projects of Transmission
Overhead Lines and Substations. Commissioning of EHV overhead lines
(66kV to 400kV),EHV sub-stations (66kV to 220kV) and underground
cables (11kV to 66kV). Preparation of annual & weekly maintenance
programme & plan for preventive, corrective & condition based
maintenance
1983 – 1994 Junior Engineer, Wanakbori Thermal Power Station
 Sustain and improve reliability, plant operation, maintenance, and
systems for power plants
