5. The IoE Enabled Supply Chain
Kevin Ross, Senior Director of Supply Chain Transformation
and New Business Model Enablement for Cisco will share
their journey to an Internet of Everything, or an I-O-E
enabled supply chain. For Cisco, IoE involves making big
bets on five emerging technologies to digitize their supply
chain: IoT or the Internet of Things, Big Data and
Analytics, Cloud Based Applications, Mobility and
Collaboration.
Kevin will share several use cases that demonstrate how
Cisco deployed these emerging technologies to digitize
their supply chains. With these bold experiments in IoE
technologies, Cisco is an early leader in supply chain
digitization. Their IoE enabled supply chain provides real-
time visibility into supply chain data, helps make faster
more proactive decisions, improves customer satisfaction,
provides breakthrough productivity and ultimately
demonstrates greater business value for the company and
customers.
