ROM – Regional Order Manager
TENARIS Angola March 2014 to Present
Still part of the Supply Chain Logistics, responsible for organizing and following the clients material
(cargo) from our (Tenaris) different Mills, for example: Dalmine (Italy), Tamsa (Mexico), NKK (Japan),
Silcotube (Romania) just to name a few, to their final destination within Africa.
Responsibilities:
 Contribute to the improvement of OTD of the mills, Increase the quality of the information
contained in the BCP/TACO and proper follow- up of the order status ; Provide forecast and
invoicing report timely and accurately (% compliance, cause of delays, etc.). Issue on time
Delivery report (weekly). Issue invoice report ROA Bi-weekly. Send On Time Delivery report
every week to better follow if material was delivered or if it is delayed and explain why / give a
reason;
 Support customer overdue reduction and Tenaris invoices payment follow up providing all the
info required to keep the process clear. After delivery of material, follow up with client to make
sure payment is received.
 Execution follow UP; To monitor production program, to be alert in case of deviations, to work
with other departments to avoid delays and finding alternative solutions. To keep Country
Manager informed in case of delays or risk of delays impacting customer operation. To make
sure L/C, proforma invoices and import licenses when required are issued on time, To make
sure vessel declaration and booking are made on time and L/C or approvals for booking and
dispatch are given on time, In case of problems with credit or L/C ask for
authorizations/approvals, To make sure shipping documents and shipment advices are issued
and delivered on time.
 Reporting and Communication; timely issuance of Status Reports to customers. Information
complete, clear and reliable. In case of special communication (delayed delivery, advanced
delivery, change of vessel name, shortage, waivers, etc.) to find a good approach to customer,
give them clear information and propose solutions.
 Incidences and Claims; To avoid claims from customers, To register incidents and claims in
the intranet tools and to assist in the resolution.
 Acknowledgement of the hand-over for DINS NSSA customers. Follow up of all ROA - Rest of
Africa customers and reporting both internally and externally.
Tenaris Angola office has now taken the responsibility of following all orders for all Tenaris clients in
Africa, namely called ROA – “Rest of Africa”, North Sub-Saharan & South Sub-Saharan Africa regions.
MA – Material Administrator for BP Project at FMC
FMC Technologies July 2012 – Feb 2014
Responsible for creating quotation for the clients approval, stay in constant contact with Procurement
and Transports department in order to control if cargo had been purchased and collected on time.
Keep an accurate status report for client, keep track of stock for our different Rigs for BP Project
Block 31, for example: BO101, DSS and OI3 and make sure all their needs lists were attended too.
Update client with a status report every week, also responsible for organizing Exports of material that
needed to go back to FMC Norway for repairs.

At the Transport Department i was in charge of two of Total Projects, namely Pazflor (PZF) and Total
Life of Field (LoF), for these projects i had to control with Procurement if cargo had been purchase in
order to organize collection. Control arrival of cargo to our Yard (FMC) in Sonils Base and follow the
Customs Clearance process with our Freight Forwarder to make sure client did not get any Fines.
Was also in charge of all export and import cargo to and from Luanda (FMC Base).
Prepare reports for our weekly meetings and to send to client.
Import & Export Customs – Key Account Manager
Panalpina March 2009 - May 2011
At Panalpina i was in charge of what is called a Cell, managing a small group of 4, who were trained
to do everything, from opening a File to Invoicing it at the end of the Customs process.
As a Cell leader I was responsible for the collection, transportation, customs clearance and delivery of
the cargo to the clients respective Yards at Sonils Base, different clients which included FMC, AES,
Fugro, to name a few.
Complete a monthly report for each client, had weekly meetings as well to make sure the customer
was satisfied and to figure out which were the important cargo's that need it special attention.
EDUCATION
BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration – UNISA – University of South Africa.
LANGUAGES
Portuguese: Mother tongue.
English: Full command of written and spoken English.
Spanish: Not fluent but can understand and read as well.
