city in Christchurch and

Churches. Thankfully
nobody died on this
horrible Occasion.

lives. There

damaged houses
and
buildings.

Some people moved away from
Christchurch and some people
have just
Been cleaning up. Even the army
and
Collage students are helping out to
clean the
Streets and help where ever help is
needed.

• The earthquake damaged a mass of roads. The cost for the
roads to get redone will be about $94 million.
• Christchurch’s hockey grounds and buildings also had lots of
damage done to it.
The cost for repairs for the hockey grounds will cost from 4-8
million dollars.]
• There were 270 After shocks from the 4th to the 8th of
September.
