Let me elaborate, a wonder co-worker of mine set me up with a fellow church goer at her congregation. We hit it off right away, which was weird to me because all the other blind dates I had gone on were borderline horror stories. I had recently gone through a divorce and about one year later I decided it was
time to play the field again. Being a born again bachelor I found it difficult going to
bars and clubs to find a date, I’m not horribly unattractive, but rather I was much
older, sometimes more than 10 years apart from these bar patrons! I then had a few of

common with one blind date but the outcome was almost disastrous had it not been

sure that her claim of never having been married at 36 years of age to be true. Sure
enough I took her advice and started up the good old Google and went to work.
What I found with the Google searches surprised me. First of all it took quite a
bit of digging and a few hours or research to happen upon the proper databases that
listed the marriage records of people. These databases are available to any normal
person, but are just very difficult to navigate and happen upon, it took quite a bit of
work to finally find the gold nugget information that this wonderful date was not only
married once but at least 11 times!, there could have been more but I couldn’t spend
hours searching this date’s sordid past.
