WHO IS TEACHER
• A teacher is a person who helps student
acquire knowledge competence or virtue .
• A good teacher is a good leader.you are all
leaders.Because you are good leaders,you
are good teacher.
• Good teaching is universal and so is the
techniques applied in teaching irrespective
of the subject.
ROLE OF TEACHER
ROLE OF TEACHER
• Interaction with family.
• To able to solve their problem.
• To develop new learning strategies.
• To be able to develop self confidence.
• To be able to provide special facilities.
• To be able to look after their personal need.
• To be able to recognize their hidden talents.
• To inculcate positive attitude in the able – bodies children.
EL ASSESSOR
• Students look to teacher as example of
professional adults.
• They often have more contact with their
teachers than their own parents, so it’s
important for teacher to always reflect a
positive image and teach children
things like respect,trust and
responsibility.
• A teacher can do this through his
actions and words in the
classroom,leadily by example.
• A teacher cannot just teach a lesson
and then move on teachers must assess
each students growth and mastery of
the lesson objectives.
• It can happen informally through
classroom observation or through
formal methods like quizzes and tests.
• Teacher must be expert planner both on paper
and in their headsy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF
TEACHER
• Evaluate the assignment by giving marks/ grades and
return it timely.
• Conduct unit test as per lecture plan after completing
each unit.
• Conduct quizzes/presentations/group discussion
periodically ( as per time table).
• Quote the cases/ newspaper or journal articles/ blogs in
delivering lecture.
• Take the extra classes for weaker students.
• Take attendence regularly class wise/subject
wise in attendance register.
• Circulate the course content/ lecture plan to
the students and adhere it t the time of
delivering lecture.
• Try to complete the syllabus in stipulated time.
• Give the assignment to students after
completing each unit.
• To reach the classroom at scheduled time.
• To check that the classroom is clean and furniture is
arranged properly.
• To check that the projector ( if installed in classroom) is
working properly.
• To check that all the students present in classroom are in
proper uniform.
• To change the seating order of notorious students if they
are sitting in group or at the back banches.

• Being a student the primary role of a student is to learn of
a student is to learn.Teaching a keep interes in studies with
help one understand fasts and figures,the social and
natural environment and how things work in reality.

• Being an agent of change, students help the society to
better as a whole.Small initiatives like cleanliness،education
