I have been a member of the Fort Collins community since 2006. I found my home in the Department of Ethnic Studies, where I delved into critical race theory, post-colonial studies, and the study of world systems and social movements. Early on, I became directly involved with student and local organizations that provided alternative education, promoted equality and engaged in social justice activisms.
