Kristin Gaspar became the youngest Council Member in the history of the Encinitas City Council upon her election in November 2010. Ms. Gaspar ran a successful campaign based on her commitment to public safety and protecting the Encinitas natural environment while improving the city government’s fiscal responsibility and accountability. After graduating from Arizona State University in 2002, Ms. Gaspar returned to North County to work as the Chief Financial Officer of her husband’s physical therapy business, Gaspar Physical Therapy in Encinitas. In addition to overseeing financial operations and human resources, she holds responsibility for day-to-day activities.
