KACB Activities
Be a Volunteer
Keep Anderson County Beautiful is always
looking for volunteers. Volunteers are needed for
litter pick-ups, manning booths & recycling
stations at festivals and fairs, fundraising, and
serving on Board of Directors or organization
committees.
Goodwill Sack Pack Day
KACB is participating with local schools and
organizations in the 4th annual Anderson County
Sack Pack Material Drive the first week of April
2012. The event is part of the Great American
Clean-up as students are encouraged to recycle
used toys, books, household goods and clothes.
Education
KACB goes into schools and gives free
presentations regardinglitter prevention,
community beautification projects, recycling
and waste reduction and tips on how to be
green.
Community Beautification
With available resources, KACB can
assist in planning and installing
community beautification projects. If
there is an area in Anderson County that
needs clean up, then KACB will provide
support.

as a source of funding. Being a member of
KACB is important in order to help further the
program’s effectiveness and heighten public
