X. Rationale:
Data collection of basic education statistics and encoding of
learner’s profile in the LIS and EBEIS is a yearly activity of all
schools, learning centers, SUCs, LUCs and HEIs offeringelementary
and secondary education both in public and private sector. The
Department of Education (DepEd) has implemented the LIS and
EBEIS to establish an accurate and reliable registry of learners,
schools, and learning centers that will ensure the availability of data
and information which play a vital role in planning and budgeting,
allocation of resources, and setting operational targets to provide
access to complete quality basic education.
XI. Terminal Objective:
To Orient teachers about Review of Personal Teaching Practices for
Teachers (Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers)
XII. Enabling Objectives:
 set out clear expectations of teachers along well-defined
career stages of professional development from beginning
to distinguished practice;
• engage teachers to actively embrace a continuing effort in
attaining proficiency; and apply a uniform measure to assess
teacher performance, identify needs, and provide support for
professional development.

As a teacher, what are the indicators
under beginning stage that you can do? It is
possible that you can move to the higher
professional development goals could you
prepare based on your strength and the areas
for improvement?
• Professional Development is one way to
develop yourself in teaching. We can
undestand better our pedagogy if we develop
professionally. Thus, it can help us to move
to the higher career stage. Based on my

teachers in the profession. Let us uplift
ourselves and our profession.
As a member of the DepEd learning
community,I commit myself to help realize
the DepEd mission, and vission. I promise to
do my duty honestly.As a teacher it is our
role to mold our learners. We play a vital
role in the world and in our pupils. We touch
lives of children. We need to be aware of
our practicews in the profession. Let’s be
reminded of our limitation in the field.

Rationale: Data collection of basic education statistics and encoding of learner’s profile in the LIS and EBEIS is a yearly activity of all schools, learning centers, SUCs, LUCs and HEIs offeringelementary and secondary education both in public and private sector. The Department of Education (DepEd) has implemented the LIS and EBEIS to establish an accurate and reliable registry of learners, schools, and learning centers that will ensure the availability of data and information which play a vital role in planning and budgeting, allocation of resources, and setting operational targets to provide access to complete quality basic education. XI. Terminal Objective: To Orient teachers about Review of Personal Teaching Practices for Teachers (Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers) XII. Enabling Objectives:
