Afraad is a story of three dream-
chasing men running after their
individual ambitions and desires.
Brought together by one incident
which makes their not so simple life into
a thrilling roller coaster ride of
numerous ironic twist and turns. The
three characters run around in the
chaotic city of Karachi bringing out the
craziest plan to save their love and life.
4. NARRATIVE
Farhan (Fahad Mustafa), who works as a sales deputy during IFU
life word association in Karachi is dismissed after he fails to
materialize any bargain in a month. Moon (Mohsin Abbas
Haider), who hails from Punjab, wants to go to Dubai to make a
living, though he ends adult entrance to Karachi. He roams
around with a dull pocket, as his family continues to trust he is
vital in Dubai. Then, there is Shakeel bhai (Javed Shaikh), who is
underneath governmental vigour to get his daughter (Urwa
Hocane) married, though can’t conduct to do so due to
financial constraints. Eventually, a trio’s paths accommodate
and a rest of their tour.

released, really enjoyed by the audience.
Surely, they will view this again in the future
and still watch it with the same excitement
and enthusiasm. They will still love it.
6. MISE EN SCENE
SETTING AND LOCATION: Karachi's poor streets are used in this film. Where usually broken roads
or houses are built. In this film you will see the real city.
COSTUMES: Clothing is very relatable and similar to our daily life. Which tells us this film is set in a
similar time as of ours. Farhan wears casual clothes, in the film you will see him in jeans and shirts. Moon
wears formal clothes because he is a working person and goes with the character and in the end the
Shakeel bhai who is an aged character in the, film he wears shalwar kameez which goes perfectly with
the character.
PROPS: In the poster the moon is holding a glass bottle which is on fire and will explode like a bomb.
Shakeel bhai is wearing glasses and there is a helmet on Farhan heads.
Camera angles: long shot is used on the poster. It was important to put all three characters along
with some of the background in the poster. Long shot was the best choice for the poster.
