My duties include: - Conducting my own research program, utilizing primarily (but not limited to) the SubMillimeter Array. I am currently investigating where hot water is located in young protostars as well as how feedback processes regulate the growth of such protostars. - Present my research results in peer-reviewed papers, at conferences, and at seminars and lunch talks both at my own institute and elsewhere. - Operating the SubMillimeter Array on Mauna Kea, HI, from Cambridge, MA, once a month. The task consists of monitoring the array remotely and solve any technical issues that may appear during an observing run.
