3. Audience: Our opening of our film is going to be aimed at 15 years and above. We would give it a ‘ British Board of Film Classification’ of 1 5 . Although the film will contain a lot of physical harm and violence you don’t actually see anyone using weapons etc so I don’t think that it will inappropriate for 15 year olds, also there is no sexual content in it. Classifications: we would give out film a ‘Socio-economic classification’ of: A and below because we think that this film would be appropriate for anyone in society. Just because people are judges etc doesn’t mean when they are with family they don’t go out and watch films together. Aimed equally at both genders although I think it would seem more appealing to the male audience because 90% of the characters are females. Also I think that horror movies are stereotypically aimed at males. I don’t think our film is aimed at any particular religion although it wouldn’t be appropriate for people such as Muslims as it may offend their beliefs because the characters all consume a considerable amount of alcohol. 4. Ideology: Our film conveys the message that women are vulnerable in the world in which it is set because the victim is female and the murderer is male. Also the killing of the woman is set up by the other female characters, this could show that you need to be careful about who you trust and take advice from. This could show that the women are the more cunning and clever sex because they organize the murder, whereas the males are more strong and violent because it is a male that actually commits the murder. 5. Language: Camera Shots: Establishing shot of ‘The Malt Shovel’ Pub to set the scene. This will give the audience the impression that all of the murder action happens here. The shot of the girl that moves to her feet, then back up to her face which is now covered in blood, this is a close up tracking shot. Mise-en-scene: A bedroom to begin with, and then a traditional pub, from the inside. It will be naturalistic with people sitting around and drinks out on the bar.
