2. Launched in December 2010 by the mobile agency Snapp’, FidMe became
quickly a success due to its usefulness for the daily needs of the «mshopper»
(mobile end user).One year after its creation, the app counted already 1 million
users. A growth explained by the progression of new uses for mobile phones,
specifically for shopping.
A 2013 survey made by the National Syndicate of Direct Marketing shows that
52% of smartphones’ users wanted their loyalty cards in their mobile, while
45% their coupons and vouchers. Another survey carried on FidMe users in
2014 confirmed these statements: users have an average of 9 cards registered
