Find likes and like (paragraph 3). When do we use likes?

Why?
Diana uses the form likes for the third person singular because she
is talking about her brother John (he). She uses like in the negative
with doesn’t.
There are six verbs which end in –s: works, gets, goes, works, goes
and likes, because this is the verb form for the third person singular
he in the affirmative.
Find always and never in paragraph 2. Are they before or
after the verb? Before or after the subject of the verb?
Always and never go between the subject and the verb.
