As an EX Intel PE 'who had served 34 years in the Area of VLSI Layout and later as DFM/PDFD leader i had lead many innovations and paved the way for better future to Intel CPU products., enabling them not only high yield, but more important many features for enabling fast and reliable silicon debug, as people make the design, and people make mistakes, EDA tools are expected to help make a clean design, but with today design complexity ... those designers who develop and program the EDA tools... make some mistakes too.. this is an human nature..
