NATURE OF JOB
• Led a team of ambitious production chemists and motivated them to achieve the set

• Shift planning and task execution, to achieve weekly targets.
• Inspection of:
- Raw material and packing material for compliance against specification.
- Finished goods for compliance against specification.
- Finished products defects by statistical analysis.
• Bulk Formulation preparation
• Process control.
- In process control.
- Shift audit, deviation reporting and non-conformance handling.
- Change over and line clearance for production and packaging.
- Control of rework by effective re-use of the W.I.P. and “process leftovers”.
- Chemical stock management (active and sensitive ingredients) and
Reconciliation via an ERP interfaced system.
- Maintenance of “working-reference” standards (packaging materials)
- To keep records and documents in audit ready more for R&D and external

> Monthly reports such as: KPI performance reports, SLOB reports, OTD reports,
FTI reports, NC-Consolidations.
> Participating in value added meetings of these mentioned reports to ensure the
objectives of the core team and organization are met, rejections are minimized, CAP
are put in place in alignment with various other teams to ensure delivery, quality and
profitability.
• Overall ensuring QC records, reference samples, customer specific requirements are
in maintained updated in SAP-QM module and keeping team prepared for an “Audit
ready Mode” at all times.
• Handling of Internal deviations and external rejections, investigation, report
preparation and KPI tracking along with Industrialization, Quality assurance and
purchasing teams. Meeting customer or inviting customer to demonstrate the facility,
resources and process to assure them confidence and trust in terms of testing and
release of products.
• Vendor development - sensory evaluation of new vendor (sourcing) and pre-shipment
samples (from existing vendor). To provide feedback to purchasing on the need for
alternative suppliers whenever needed taking into consideration the quality and inputs
and alignment from various teams in order to meet evolving customer needs.
• To provide a systematic training and orientation to new employees (activities relevant
to Liquid Product and Liquid Raw Materials).
• Issuing declarations, specifications, CoA and other documents to customer on request
via “Doc requestor module”. To review and align QC specification with customer
specification for Global Key accounts to ensure requirements are maintained and met
up to date.
• Handling all QC aspects during product revision and trigger escalation process if any
to ensure specification is not compromised.
• Participating in cross functional audit along with QA to ensure the process GAPs are
eliminated / minimized to ensure plant and operations are safe and audit ready.
• Providing technical support to customer queries /requests (Shelf life extension,
Complaint related, application related, flavor behavior related, etc.) by coordinating
with other relevant teams based on the need.
• Supporting QC areas in value added initiatives such as PTA initiatives, BCP
Programs to ensure organization is kept ready in a “revive, recover and reproduce
mode”.
• Value adding to QC lab enrichment initiatives on technical subjects relevant to QC.
