1: strong disagreement or bad feeling between people. A conflict is a struggle between people which may be physical, or between conflicting ideas. Conflicts arise because there are needs, values or ideas that are seen to be different, and there is no means to reconcile the dispute..
A conflict results in heated arguments, physical abuses and definitely loss of peace and harmony. Conflict situations arise because of fear, force, fair or funds. Other causes of conflict can be communication gaps; personality differences; substandard performance; disputes over approaches, responsibility and authority; lack of cooperation; or competition for limited resources.
How does it feel when you disagree with a friend?
What are some small/big conflicts you might have with a friend?
What can you do to solve problems with a friend?
Very often, conflicts lead to fights, or even wars (in the case where conflicts are solved with weapons)
Two siblings want to watch television. One has a homework assignments to watch the evening news. The other wants to watch his favorite programs.
First stop fighting, then talk about what happened. and discuss a fair choice between the two. For example: Since others need to complete schoolwork, prioritize them first. when finished, the other one can watch his favorite tv program. But if there is no agreement, then talk to your parents.
2. Two friends want to ride the swings. There is only one swing.
