of a Liberty Tax Zee
During our tax season peak times, the successful
franchisee may arrive at the office very early, supervise
and/or go out on business-to-business marketing
visits, work with the tax preparation staff and office staff
to be sure there’s adequate staffing and that returns are
transmitted promptly, and work with wavers and the
marketing team to be sure there’s always a Lady Liberty
waving and daily marketing goals are accomplished. The
franchisee may or may not actually prepare returns. The
successful franchise is checking on operations and may be
in the office after the last customer leaves and after the last
return is transmitted to the IRS for the day. A typical day
after tax season may be a day with family or time on the
golf course. Liberty Tax franchisees are required to
maintain office hours one day a week in the off season, and
hold tax schools during the fall months.
