IPad, and the other Android products. At that time,
GlobeBill will officially enter the mobile payments
industry.
As a nascent payment method, mobile payment can
greatly simplify the user’s payment process and allow
users to pay through the mobile terminal (now mainly refers to the phone) at anytime
and anywhere. Given the advantages of its unique style, the major third-party
payments companies are optimistic in this area and continue to increase investment to
pave the way to seize the market. GlobeBill has been aware of this trend long time
ago and its products for IPhone, Ipad and Android have entered into the stage of
business development.
On March 27, the Ministry of Industry announced the Electronic Commerce Plan in
the “12th Five-Year Development” (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). The Plan
clearly stated China's e-commerce development goals in the "12th Five-Year" period:
a quadrupling of the amount of e-commerce transactions to exceed 18 trillion Yuan
and in 2015, the number of users of mobile e-commerce and the volume of transaction
E-commerce should achieve the world's leading status. The introduction of the plan is
a good reminder of the importance of national mobile e-commerce and it also
provides policy support for the rapid development of mobile payment services.
A recently released report from Analysis International shows that in 2011 the mobile
payment market in China has undergone a rapid development and its annual
transaction volume has reached 74.2 billion Yuan, an increase of 67.8% Y-O-Y and
was expected to maintain a rapid development. Till the year of 2014, the transaction
volume is expected to reach 385 billion.
Though the mobile payment gateway is attractive, there still exist potential risks. As a
