Chase scene
The idea of the shots in this chase scene is to keep the camera close to the
character that is running, keeping it close to the character in this type of scene
is a good way of seeing it from his perspective.

Establishing shot (ground level) Opening of the chase scene the duration of
this shot is 5 seconds.
Tracking shot (Knee Level) Following the character being chased the
duration of this shot is 5 seconds.
Zoom out (Face view) Following his face as he runs towards the
camera, duration of this shot is 3 seconds.
Tracking shot (foot level) Following his feet as he runs from the killer,
duration for this shot is 5 seconds.
Medium shot (waist level)
As the character runs around the corner to
the house, duration of this shot is 5 seconds
long.
Dolly zoom (high angle) As the character moves in on the end of the
street looking for places to go, this shot will
show his facial expressions of fear and
panic, duration of this shot will be 7
seconds
Tracking shot (low angle) Following the character from the back as he
runs to the gate he spotted in the last shot,
duration of this shot is 5 seconds long.
Medium shot Showing the character reach the shut and
locked gate from a side view.
Close up (hand level) Showing the character trying to open the

Extreme close up (face view) Showing the character struggle to push
through the gate. The duration of this shot

runs through with a struggle injuring

back door of the house as quick as he can,

his head yet again to, the camera will turn

killer at the same time as the character, this
time stood by the entrance to the garden.

Close up (door window level) This will be the a still shot looking at the
window to the back door, then blood will
spray across the window to give the
impression that the killer killed the victim.

from their room to the door of the front

Extreme close up Showing the character turn the door handle
to enter the room. The duration of this shot
will be 3 seconds long
Medium shot Door opening and the character walking
through into the room, the camera will be
on the other side of the door, facing him as
he walks in. the duration of this shot will 5

Tracking shot (waist level) Tracking the character as he walks towards
the blinds for the window, the duration of

Extreme close up This will be a extreme close up of the blinds
being pulled up by the chains. The duration

Medium shot A medium shot of the blinds opening to see
sunlight shining through the window, the

POV Shot Looking out the window into the garden
through the eyes of the character to see
blood stains on the ground. Duration of

Profile shot Looking at the characters reaction to the
blood from the side. The duration of this

they walk down the stairs and to the front
