Anderson a fresh men in his school, and his roommate Neil Perry.
Todd is shy and terrified since he is repeatedly told that he has “big
shoes to fill” being the younger brother of a former valedictorian. Neil,
on the other hand, is bright and full of ambition, which is
unfortunately squelched by his overbearing, controlling father. Mr. Perry

Dead poets member. Mr. and Mrs. Perry demand a thorough
investigation, Welton administration links the Dead Poets Society,
which they determined as the cause for the upheaval, to Mr.
Keating.
Each member is called before the administration and their
parents to sign a confession statement indicating that Mr. Keating

doing what is already determined to be right, signs the statement
and encourages the rest of them to do the same. Angered by
this betrayal, Dalton punches Cameron in an impulsive fit
displaying his final romantic act. The last to sign, is Todd, thus
removing John Keating from his treasured position. In one final
scene, displaying the beauty of a balance between the two
5. Moral Values
"Carpe diem“ to seize the day. We should not let
life hold us down, we should live in the moment,
make our lives' extraordinary. Dreams and goals are
important in life and should never be forgotten or
given up. If we are doing things that does not
make us happy we must remember that the
importance of life is living for ones self , not to
conform to what society demands and to just go for
it. Also in taking risk we must be responsible and
independent enough to face the consequences that
may follow. We must be realist to distinguish
between right and wrong and romantic to show,
express our love for us also to be love.
6. Issues
Controlling the lives of others for their
own betterment.
Keep on following the same old ways
even though it is
not utile anymore
Distrusting oneself
7. Personal Insights
Being a student to follow our parents is
healthy as long us we are loving and it is our
free well to do the things that they demands,
but for me, it is not also bad if we express
our true feeling and opinions about something.
It is not healthy to do things we don’t want to
do just to satisfy other. It could result to poor
performance for we don’t put passion in doing
it because it is not our well. We should show
them uniqueness and deference our selves from
other, that we had our own identity. We must
be strong to dare to strike out and find new
8. Personal Insights
As a future teacher we must explore by our self
the different ways of teaching. We must teach our
learner not to be so much dependent on books
history, we must teach them to make a history made
by them selves, for we are a free thinker. We must
encourage them that their individual words and ideal
can change the world. We should remind them to
constantly look at things in different way, to sail
beyond their limits.
