Description :
Responsible for overall delivery of a cluster of SAP BW/BO engagements across industry and geography.
Currently there are around 60 SAP BW/BO implementation and support projects for which Madhuchhanda
is overall responsible from IBM Global delivery centers across globe. Cluster based delivery framework is
a unique approach to group similar kind of services delivered for multiple clients, which worked on key
principles like faster, better and most cost effective delivery for client projects. This has been achieved by
implementing a common set of IBM tools, processes and methods for delivery.
The types of BW/BO engagements getting delivered from cluster delivery model are reporting solution
implementation using BW Datawarehouse as backend and BO reporting toolset as frontend, BW support
and enhancement, BO support and enhancement, data migration engagements using BODS, BW-on-
HANA engagements. Some of the recent projects that have been delivered or are getting delivered from
cluster model are Bio-rad BW and BODS implementation and support, Medtronic BW/BO build and
support, DHL BW development and support, Abbott Labs BW/BO development and support, Valeo BW

Daiichi Sankyo Inc. (DSI), a leading pharmaceutical company, took an initiative to centralize enterprise
reporting through SAP platforms. For this highly critical project of DSI, Madhuchhanda has worked as lead
architect initially and facilitated requirement gathering of FI, SCM and HR area, blueprinting, preparation of

functional specifications and overall effort estimation. The project delivery happened in onshore-offshore
model and Madhuchhanda played the offshore project manager role and managed successfully a team of
35 SAP functional and technical consultants through completion of the project.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Solution designing of DSI reporting implementation engagement and propose solution consisting
of reporting tool assessment and proposal, technical architecture, scope definition, timeline and
effort, project management methodology to be followed, pricing etc.
• Preparing Statement of Work (SoW) with client, consisting of agreed scope, high level solution,

Description :
Ericsson SAP ONE Implementation Global Rollout was aimed at rolling out Global SAP solution to the
Ericsson companies/market units that did not have the Global SAP implemented. IBM project team was
responsible for system setup of Ericsson standard processes and company specific development of
approved demands. Project scope included system configuration, development of approved demands, Unit
test, Integration test and UAT support, Cutover and Golive, Post golive support.
Technical golive for Global SAP solution was planned 4 times a year, aligned with 4 SAP releases, which
were considered as independent projects awarded to IBM. These releases were run under one program,
with common tools, processes and common resource pool being utilized.
Project team consisted of SAP functional and technical consultants for respective SAP modules, architects
and project managers. The Global SAP solution had been rolled out to more than 100 companies/market
units.

• Overall ownership for all 4 releases of SAP rollout in a year, with respective project managers being
responsible for each release

Description :
British Petroleum (BP) is the worldwide leader in the petroleum and chemicals industries with a very strong
retailing network. The BW initiative at BP was aimed at consolidating the Management Information system
using SAP BW.
This SAP BW implementation was being done in a phased manner. The functional domains worked upon
were FI-AR, COPA, Sales and Distribution. IBM offshore team was involved mainly in design,
development, go-live and post go-live support. The various sub projects being executed under BP
Downstream were ‘PRIME’, ‘Project Enterprise’, ‘Like for Like’, Bitumen reporting etc. In all the sub
projects IBM offshore team was responsible for BW data modeling, R/3 and non R/3 extraction and
complex report development.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Manage IBM engagement overall from India delivery center and technically lead the team through all
the project phases, initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closure.

Ericsson common datawarehouse was built on SAP BW platform that was implemented for Ericsson
companies worldwide and was going live in different markets subsequently. The analysis areas which were
used extensively were Supply Chain, Finance and Controlling, Service Management and Human Resource
Management. The application management and enhancement to the existing datawarehouse was
migrated to IBM Global Delivery, an onsite plus offshore model was being followed for delivery.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Team lead and onsite coordinator at Stockholm, Sweden.
• Ensuring successful transition of application management to IBM following IBM transition management
methodology.
• Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled between Ericsson and IBM, preparing procedural manual,
quality review of key deliverables, taking care of emergency support issues.
• As a technical SME, responsible for application management of Finance and controlling area, in terms
of trouble shooting and issue resolution.

Description :
Nestle Globe project involved implementation of SAP R/3, BW, APO, CRM and other solutions for Nestle.
At Nestle, a global template had been developed which was already implemented in a few markets in
Europe, America and Asia and was going to be implemented in few other markets worldwide. At the
outsourced configuration factory at IBM Global delivery, configuration and regression testing were being
done in offshore mode for markets that were going live subsequently.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Understanding the BW design and its interfaces with other systems like CRM and APO.
• Performing technical design and developing BW objects like InfoCubes, Queries and Workbooks etc.
• Resolving Market Change Requests, Global Change Requests and TPRs.

The Core systems project at British Gas (BG), UK was initiated to provide a basis for BG group's
expansion plans over the next five years where best practice, common processes would be designed and
implemented in BG's key operations. SAP BW was used for all Management reporting at BG.
Specific Responsibilities:
• The functional areas covered for BW reporting were Finance and Controlling, Procurement, HR and
Performance Management.
• Enterprise Controlling data flew from R/3 via BCS to BW and reports were generated out of BW.
• BW Technical Architecture design.
• Carry out data modeling for all BW reporting requirements.
• Development of BW objects like Extractors, InfoCubes, complex Queries and Workbooks.

Currently there are around 60 SAP BW/BO implementation and support projects for which Madhuchhanda is overall responsible from IBM Global delivery centers across globe. Cluster based delivery framework is a unique approach to group similar kind of services delivered for multiple clients, which worked on key principles like faster, better and most cost effective delivery for client projects. (DSI), a leading pharmaceutical company, took an initiative to centralize enterprise reporting through SAP platforms. For this highly critical project of DSI, Madhuchhanda has worked as lead architect initially and facilitated requirement gathering of FI, SCM and HR area, blueprinting, preparation of

The project delivery happened in onshore-offshore model and Madhuchhanda played the offshore project manager role and managed successfully a team of 35 SAP functional and technical consultants through completion of the project. IBM project team was responsible for system setup of Ericsson standard processes and company specific development of approved demands. Project scope included system configuration, development of approved demands, Unit test, Integration test and UAT support, Cutover and Golive, Post golive support. Technical golive for Global SAP solution was planned 4 times a year, aligned with 4 SAP releases, which were considered as independent projects awarded to IBM. These releases were run under one program, with common tools, processes and common resource pool being utilized. Project team consisted of SAP functional and technical consultants for respective SAP modules, architects and project managers. The Global SAP solution had been rolled out to more than 100 companies/market units. Ericsson BI system was technically upgraded to SAP BI 7.0 in 2006 and the new BI 7.0 functionalities were being implemented thereafter. There were around 30 development projects that were running within the SAP BI program. Project Name : SAP BW BPS Implementation for Philip Morris Client : Philip Morris Duration/Size : January 2007 – April 2007 Role : Senior BW Consultant Environment : SAP BW 3.5, BW BPS, Business Explorer (BEx) Description : The objective of SAP BW BPS implementation at PMI was to carry out the price forecast for PMI Direct materials and publish reports on price forecast. The project required complex manual planning templates

Project Name : SAP BW Implementation for BP Downstream Client : BP Duration/Size : March 2005 – Dec 2006 Role : Project Manager Team size : 30 Environment : SAP BW 3.5, SAP R/3 4.6, Business Explorer (BEx), Informatica Description : British Petroleum (BP) is the worldwide leader in the petroleum and chemicals industries with a very strong retailing network. The BW initiative at BP was aimed at consolidating the Management Information system using SAP BW. This SAP BW implementation was being done in a phased manner. The functional domains worked upon were FI-AR, COPA, Sales and Distribution. IBM offshore team was involved mainly in design, development, go-live and post go-live support. The various sub projects being executed under BP Downstream were ‘PRIME’, ‘Project Enterprise’, ‘Like for Like’, Bitumen reporting etc. In all the sub projects IBM offshore team was responsible for BW data modeling, R/3 and non R/3 extraction and complex report development. The analysis areas which were used extensively were Supply Chain, Finance and Controlling, Service Management and Human Resource Management. The application management and enhancement to the existing datawarehouse was migrated to IBM Global Delivery, an onsite plus offshore model was being followed for delivery. Project Name : Nestle Globe- Outsourced Configuration Factory Client : Nestle Duration/Size : February 2003 – December 2003 Role : Team Lead Environment : SAP BW 3.0B, SAP R/3 4.7, SAP CRM, SAP APO, Business Explorer (BEx) Description : Nestle Globe project involved implementation of SAP R/3, BW, APO, CRM and other solutions for Nestle. At Nestle, a global template had been developed which was already implemented in a few markets in Europe, America and Asia and was going to be implemented in few other markets worldwide. At the outsourced configuration factory at IBM Global delivery, configuration and regression testing were being done in offshore mode for markets that were going live subsequently. Specific Responsibilities: • Understanding the BW design and its interfaces with other systems like CRM and APO. • Performing technical design and developing BW objects like InfoCubes, Queries and Workbooks etc. • Resolving Market Change Requests, Global Change Requests and TPRs. • Performing Regression testing for European markets. • Executing changes in complex queries and workbooks. • Supporting complex developments in the areas CRM, APO, SEM integration. SAP BW was used for all Management reporting at BG. Specific Responsibilities: • The functional areas covered for BW reporting were Finance and Controlling, Procurement, HR and Performance Management. • Enterprise Controlling data flew from R/3 via BCS to BW and reports were generated out of BW. • BW Technical Architecture design. • Carry out data modeling for all BW reporting requirements. • Development of BW objects like Extractors, InfoCubes, complex Queries and Workbooks. • Executing Unit test, Integration test and User acceptance test • Ensuring that all go live preparation activities are completed • Providing all necessary support and troubleshooting for all areas during go-live and post go-live. • Imparting User training.
