14. Tata Steel promotes Sports for the physically challenged It sponsored the Indian contingent for the Special Olympics held at Dublin in 2003. Special Olympics Jharkhand basketball team won the Gold Medal in the Special Olympics National Basketball Championship. Out of 8 children 6 were from Jamshedpur and trained in JRD Tata Sports Complex.
