In the title of the poem the word
Shepherd is written with the capital “S”
which shows that it is referring God.
In this poem Shepherd is a God and the
lamb is a human being.
Shepherd is compaired to God because he
has the ability to understand the voice of
lamb…as God understands what a humans
wants..!

Lamb feels secured and protected during the
presence of Shepherd so does a human too when
he realize that his God is there for him to
protect during hardships..
Lamb and humans both are innocent
creatures. God knows what is in the heart of
a human… Similar is the case with the

beginning because it increases the level of
patience..because the animals are annoying
and the shepherd has to act calmly…
