About Company: Since 1974, Eimco Elecon (India) Ltd., a part of Elecon Engineering
Company Ltd. has been the leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment and services to
Indian Underground Coal & Metal Mining Industry.
Role: Sr.Technical Executive (Service)
Responsible to: General Manager (Head - Service & Warrantee)
A. From January 2013
Moved to company Headquarter at Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat to provide the after-sales-
support of Construction Equipment viz. Wheel Loaders to various customers located in
business of Construction, Power, Steel and Mining, Public and Private Sector
Major responsibilities;
 To provide after-sales-support from company headquarter to customer as well as to
various dealers located at strategic location.
 Organize the workshop on servicing of construction loader which covers broadly
mechanical and hydraulic transmissions, operation, and maintenance etc.
 Provide training to service team of dealers on various component of construction
loaders, viz various gear arrangement, hydrostatic transmission etc.
 To develop the trained service team at headquarter as well dealer location.
 Preparation of service and training manuals for Wheel Loader Model – AL120 and
AL520.
 To reduce the warrantee claim, failures analysis of warrantee issue.

2. B. From May 2006 to December 2012
Responsibilities: Responsible for providing after-sales-support for smooth and trouble free
operation of Heavy Earthmoving Mining Machinery viz. Blast Hole Drill Machines, Mining
Loaders etc., enquiry generation for Spares Parts and adding new customer in Eastern
Region.
After-sales-support of Heavy Earthmoving Mining Machinery broadly include servicing of
hydraulic system, Pneumatic systems, various type Gear boxes like rotary gear boxes having
planetary gear arrangements, P.T.O (Power Take Off) gear box having gear trains of
planetary arrangements and track drive gear box having planetary with reduction gear
arrangements.
 Ensuring the timely, entire project activities viz. erection, commissioning, performance test,
obtaining completion certificate to ensure the completion of project as per target time.
 Regular visit to project site to ensure the availability of equipment for operation to
established the performance of equipment during warrantee period.
 Service support to customer located in Eastern Zone to ensure the smooth and trouble free
operation of Surface Mining Equipment i.e. Blast Hole Drills, after warrantee period.
 Enquiry generation of Spares Parts Business for Mining Equipment from BCCL, Dhanbad.
 360 degree competitors' feedback to formulate the future sales and service strategies in co-
ordination with head office.
 Development of new customer to increase the sales volume in the region, developing and
negotiating with agents for sourcing of alternate service components.
 Planning and implementing the preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for
improving the overall reliability and safety of plant equipment.
 Conducting failure investigation analysis to identify gaps and to take corrective measures so
as to reduce equipment downtime and maximize plant availability.
Achievements:
 Supervise the production of Blast Hole Drills machines at manufacturing shop located at
head quarter during manufacturing of first 2 years of development stage.
 Accepted the BCCL, Dhanbad, 160 mm Blast Hole Drill as proven equipment after close
monitoring of performance of equipment for a period of one year.
 Successfully completed the erection, commissioning, performance test and completion of
warrantee obligation of subsequent FIRM supply order of BCCL, Dhanbad for 5 and 9 unit
160mm Blast Hole Drills.
 Secured 90% spare parts order from BCCL, Dhanbad for Blast Hole Drills.
2. Waliram Taneja Mines Pvt. (Apr 2003 to May 2006)
Role: Service Engineer
Major products handling: Surface Mining Machine.
Responsibilities: Responsible for servicing of machine working in BCCL, Dhanbad, enquiry
generation for Spares Parts.
Achievement: Developed the business of approx. Rs. 25 to 30 Lakhs per month in Coal Sector
through machine Servicing & Parts.
