4. Find information about the
peoples
When I’m invited to speak in a place, after
thanking God and asking for guidance, one of the
first things I do is to find information about the
peoples, the land, and the history of the place
where I’m going, and I would pay attention to any
little detail that the Holy Spirit would put in my
heart.
5. God is and artist of His creation.
God, the Supreme creator of all what it is and exists is
a wonderful artist in designing and creating pieces of
His own artistry. As in the case on a famous artist, He
will always stamp his signature in his piece of art. You
are a wonderful piece of his creation, and as such he
has sealed you with his characteristic sign. Sometimes
you hear that some piece of art has been found or has
been recovered and put it in expert hands to see if it is
original, then to be restored, properly
evaluated, labeled and finally under security
protection the piece of art is displayed for the world to
see and enjoy of its magnificence. In some cases, this
wonderful discovery is lent to other countries so this
marvelous creation can be known around the world.
6. Cracked vessels.
Sometimes we may feel just a s a piece of an artistic
container that is in some forgotten place collecting
dust and little by little fading away, until the moment
in which the eyes of the Master Potter, the master of
Masters in his perfect time spots us out from heaven,
then he bends down, pick us up carefully in his hands,
dust us off, kisses us, checks for any cracks, restores
us, tags us, makes his signature be very visible on us,
fills us with the oil of his anointing, saturates us with
the magnificent fragrance of his presence, surround
us with his security and finally he situates us in a place
to display his attributes of love, of mercy, of
compassion, of healing, of acceptance, of sacrifice.
7. You are here to enjoy the
exhibition.
How many of you here tonight have come from
outside the city?
How many of you from outside the State of Delaware?
How many of you have emigrated from another
country?
Whether you are local or from outside, you are here to
enjoy the exhibition of magnificent containers that
the Lord is displaying in this place, so enjoy the
exhibition, get ready as the Master Potter will check
for any cracks in your vessel, he wants to repair you as
he wants to fill you up again and again.
8. A Big drink.
Is anyone thirsty in the house?
Get ready,
you are about to be filled to overflowing.
9. Delaware’s Nickname.
So one of the first things that I found and called
my attention were the following ones:
That Delaware has an interesting nickname:
“The First State”
Delaware is known by this nickname due to the
fact that on December 7, 1787; it became the first
of the 13 original states to ratify the U.S.
Constitution.
10. Origen of the name.
The next thing that called my attention was that
Delaware takes its name from
“Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr”
Which can be translated as : Man of War; Warrior.
11. Names of the Counties.
Then the names and locations of the three
Counties caught my eye:
New Castle, at the head or north.
Kent, at the heart or middle section, and
Sussex, at the feet or base.
12. The map of Delaware:
And finally I almost fell off my chair when my eyes
caught attention of your coastal line seeing the
shapes that the Delaware River by instruction of
Almighty God had form in its running down to the
Atlantic Sea.
It can easily be found the silhouettes of three
faces looking to the State.
Also a feet or shoe coming over the State of
Delaware.
