12. Technology : Boon or Bane?
Technology can be called Boon or “Blessing”
when it has good effect to the person who are interested
in technology. With technology there is a lot that we
can do which we could not do then. It can help to those
person that far from each other that can make live
easier by the use of technology by webcam and
especially to those people who have job, technology
can more help to do it.
Technology can be called Bane or “Curse”
when it is over use by the people who are desperate
enough of doing things. To those people who are not
open-mindedness what is right and wrong. And use it in
a bad way just to have money even if that technology is
destroying you.

Traditional Way
The learner learns from the technology and
the technology serves as a TEACHER. It serves as
source and presenter of knowledge. It is assumed that
“knowledge is embedded in the technology and the
technology presents that knowledge to a students”.
Technology like computers is seen as productivity tool.
Constructivist Way
Educational technology serves as learning
tools to learn with. It engages learners in active ,
constructive , intentional , authentic , and cooperative
learning. It provides opportunities for technology and
learner interaction for meaningful learning.

is important?. Will for me it is yes because in
technology we learn from it. Technology is a
good help being a person and a student. There are
purpose why educational technology is being
taught. Educational technology 1 and 2 want us
student to become more knowledgeable enough
and how to use the instructional media base on
education.

is. Nowadays , the teacher will use their
