1. Current job description in the function of developer (functional E4 level in the company)
1) Ensure execution and reporting of project related deliverables according to the approved project
plan by applying the best practices for design, development and qualification of protein based in
vitro diagnostic assays.
Within this scope, following development activities are integrated in common practice:
• Integration and application of the internally and/or externally available development strategies
and/or Best Practices
• Timely and accurate delivery of the assigned work packages, reflecting the required reporting
standards for either internal and/or externally used documentation
• Pro-active cross-functional collaboration with assigned leads from other internal departments on
subject of the technical deliverables as defined in the overall project plan
• Support the implementation of up-to-date technological challenges or novelties into
development activities/strategy
2) Support ongoing manufacturability and optimal customer appreciation at lowest possible costs
of the in-market Diagnostic products (Product Life Cycle Management) through an ongoing,
active deployment of the integrated development experience and product / platform expertise.
Within the scope of the assigned product(s), the Developer contributes to the overall
organizational requirement of maintaining product manufacturability and optimal customer
satisfaction over the total Product Life Cycle by applying following activities:
• Act as unit stakeholder of product design history know how at the level of internal customers
• Provide indirect technical support in the complaint handling process and with internal
manufacturability problems
• Contribute to data analyses, root cause analyses and problem solving for manufacturability or
customers complaints.
• Implement innovation approaches for PLM activities.
3) Technical platform expertise
Provide technological expertise across the assigned product(s) in order to deliver
products/services that meet the highest quality/efficiency and are respectful of changing
customer / market requirements.

customer needs, …
2. • Give technical support for platform improvements projects
• Collaborate with Supply Chain organization to assure assay/platform knowledge building
• Support the knowledge building of the assigned domain by attending job related forums
(symposium, exhibitions, congresses,…)
4) Organize and execute project tasks and activities to ensure timely completion of product
development deliverables within the budget/project plan.
Within the scope of the assigned projects/activities, and following ongoing guidance from either
Senior Developer and/or Unit Manager, the Developer carries the responsibility for the
execution of the following tasks :
• Writing of protocols and reports in function of work package delivery
• Create and integrate workplans of assigned work packages, including cost and time allocation,
• Execute and follow-up of own daily operational activities
• Present progression of project work packages and make proposals for mitigating actions to the
senior developer
• Ensure that the documentation and data management is fully in line with the active procedures
and guidelines (correctness and completeness).
• Train, coach, and support employees of the team, and members of other units.
